Pinja has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its information security management system. Pinja provides business-critical software solutions to clients in more than 30 countries. Information security is therefore one of the most important areas of Pinja’s sustainability program.
“We decided to certify our information security management system to ensure that our clients can meet industry best practices and requirements now and in the future. Our clients’ business is connected to supply chains where the high level of information security of our services is essential for them from the point of view of smoothness, information security and continuity of their daily activities”, says Veli-Matti Nurminen, CEO of Pinja.
The ISO 27001 certification is the most recognized certification in the world, and achieving it demonstrates a company’s commitment to information security development and service quality.
“The certification further develops our methodology and awareness of information security management. The business environment is constantly evolving, and in the face of change, the risk-based approach of ISO/IEC 27001 ensures the best reliability and efficiency. Continuous development of information security and regular external evaluation are the cornerstones of information security for an international software company like ours”, says Pekka Nurminen, CIO of Pinja.
