FennoSteel, the leading Nordic manufacturer of exhaust pipes and industrial thin-walled steel pipes, has chosen Pinja as its partner for the development of production planning and monitoring. The decision is based on FennoSteel’s goal to achieve world-class manufacturing efficiency through high quality products and new innovations.
FennoSteel supplies high-quality exhaust pipes and thin-walled steel pipes for cars, vans, and machinery. Its customers include Europe’s leading spare parts wholesalers, distribution chains, vehicle manufacturers, and construction and road safety product professionals. New products, high customer demands, and ensuring delivery precision require investments in production scheduling and planning.
The collaboration with Pinja dates many years back, and it covers solutions for maintenance management and production monitoring. In spring 2023, FennoSteel decided to expand the cooperation by acquiring the iPES by Pinja production planning system. The system supports FennoSteel’s efforts to improve production processes, and respond better and more flexibly to market demands.
Juho Arkkola, the representative of Pinja in the project, praises FennoSteel’s willingness to invest especially in change management and effective change implementation.
