Saab has selected Pinja to supply the CMMIS for the maintenance of the combat equipment of the Pohjanmaa-class multifunctional corvettes for the Laivue 2020 project. The CMMIS contributes to ensuring that the combat system and the equipment perform their assigned tasks and are operational when needed. Reliability and life cycle management are particularly important in this type of environment.
Saab serves the market by providing world-leading products and solutions for military and civil security. The 9LV combat command and control system to be delivered on board the Laivue 2020 ships ensure the continuous readiness and strike capability required for naval operations.
According to Eppu Kuusela, Pinja’s Sales and Key Account Manager, the Novi by Pinja maintenance system meets the operational needs and security requirements of the Defense Forces with its versatile features and integration, and is therefore well suited to the demanding operating environment.
According to Kuusela, the fact that Saab relies on the Novi by Pinja maintenance system to maintain the reliability of critical combat equipment is a big vote of confidence.
