We are looking for automation and ICT professionals for several cities
Towards the end of 2015, Pinja’s growth rate accelerated more than expected. The strong growth has continued in the spring 2016.
“At the turn of the year, our order backlog had reached the highest level ever and has still strengthened during the first months of the year. Sales prospects are good and more deals can be expected. Currently, we are looking for automation and ICT professionals for our offices in Jyväskylä, Tampere, Oulu and Kuopio”, says Pinja’s President CEO Timo Akselin.
Grew by 10.5 per cent from the previous year
Last year’s revenue of EUR 18.3 million grew by 10.5 per cent from the previous year. In 2015, Pinja employed approximately 20 new people in their units in Jyväskylä, Oulu, Tampere and Vaasa. In addition, new regional units were established in three Finnish locations with already 15 employees.
In January 2015, Pinja’s number of personnel was slightly over 200 and today it is almost 250. This year, there will be around 20–30 open jobs. The new people recruited so far are mainly involved with business digitalisation, such as software production, development of cloud services, productivity and cloud platform service expertise, as well as information systems. Additional expertise has also been recruited for industrial design services.
“In view of the development in the first quarter, we will achieve the goals set for this year. The number of personnel will exceed 250 people and the turnover will also grow profitably exceeding the limit of EUR 20 million”, relates Timo Akselin happily.
