Pinja enters the Spanish and Portuguese SaaS markets through a dealership agreement with GHESA Ingeniería y Tecnología, S.A. GHESA is a Madrid-based engineering and construction firm in the energy field. The agreement initially applies to the Once by Pinja product and GHESA’s Spanish and Portuguese market areas. Going forward, the collaboration is projected to expand both geographically and in offering range.
Signed in June 2021, the dealership agreement between Pinja and GHESA improves Pinja’s foothold and visibility in Southern Europe and allows GHESA to expand its solution offering for its existing and prospective customers. The companies were initially connected through the Business Finland network.
With a new wave of digitalization spreading across different industrial sectors in Spain and Portugal, many companies are aiming to improve their process efficiency and support the circular economy. After a slower period of investments in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic, business is now picking up and the partners find the timing to be favourable for their combined service offering.
GHESA has offices around the globe and a strong focus on digitalization services for the energy sector, in particular. In the first phase, GHESA will provide Once by Pinja solutions to its customers operating in the fields of electricity, biomass, heat and pellet production, pulp and paper as well as waste incineration.
In GHESA’s view, Pinja offers a smart solution that will benefit a range of companies in terms of efficiency, time and costs. By joining forces, the companies can help solve inefficiencies and a lack of seamless integration in the various systems currently applied by customer companies.
