From data collection to daily management
The Olvi brewery and soft drink factory have produced enjoyable beverages since 1878, for more than 140 years. Over the years, Olvi has grown from a small local brewery to an international public company employing over 2,000 people in six countries.
To eliminate manual entries, Olvi introduced Pinja’s production monitoring system.

this way, we can direct our actions to tackle the root causes.

Olvi wanted to improve the efficiency of their filling department and started cooperation with Pinja in late 2012. Before this, Olvi’s production reporting was mainly carried out using paper sheets which, once archived, were hardly ever returned to anymore. A general overview of production operations was lacking and the production management had no tools for genuine knowledge-based management.
The goal was to actively move away from decision-making based on gut feeling and manual paper-based entries. Therefore, a production monitoring system was introduced.
